What is the dress code?
We would love to see all our friends & family dressed up for our big day! The dress code is formal / black tie optional. Ladies can wear a formal dress while gents can wear a suit, tux, or dress shirts and pants. We are also encouraging bright colors to match the spring theme!
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your partner is invited, their name will be listed on your wedding invitation and appear when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!
Where can I park?
The Pfister hotel has a parking garage located on Mason Street. Self-park for the evening is $10 (get your validation coupon from the wedding bar), while self-parking overnight is $20 per night. Valet parking is also available at the downtown Milwaukee hotel entrance on Jefferson Street for $46 per night.
Will I need to use any transportation on the day of the wedding?
Nope! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be in the Imperial Ballroom at the Pfister, so there is no need to worry about transportation.
What is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel?
If you are flying into Milwaukee, it is a 10-15 minute Uber to the Pfister. If you are flying into O'Hare in Chicago, the Coach USA bus runs almost every hour from 6:30am to 9:30pm from the airport and is a 1 hour and 45 minute ride to the Milwaukee Intermodal station. From here, the Pfister is a 5 minute Uber or 20 minute walk.
What time does the Ceremony start?
The ceremony officially starts at 4:30pm with the cocktail hour beginning immediately after at 5pm. Please plan to arrive at the ceremony by 4:00pm and no later than 4:15pm.
How long is the reception? Will there be an after party?
The open bar reception is from 6:30pm - 12:00am. If guests would like to continue the party afterwards, there is a rooftop bar called Blu on the 23rd floor of the Pfister that will remain open until 2am.
Can I take pictures and post to social media?
Yes, however, we please ask for no pictures during the ceremony as we have hired a photographer to take those. Otherwise, we would love to see all the moments captured from the night!
Are there dining options at the Pfister?
Absolutely! For a more formal dining experience, the Mason Street Grill is open from 4pm-9pm every day, as well as from 10am - 2pm on weekends. For a more casual dining experience, the Café at the Pfister features both a full dining area available for breakfast and lunch along with a patisserie and barista counter serving Starbucks® coffee on the go and serve freshly baked-in-house pastries, gourmet desserts, and special treats. Additionally, the lobby lounge, which is open from 9am to 1am, offers beverages and light appetizers. For those just seeking refreshments, you can find Blu, one of the most popular martini bars in the city of Milwaukee, on the 23rd floor giving panoramic views of the city.
